A compendium of articles, reviews, interviews, columns, and assorted other
published and unpublished writings of local, regional and national interest
by music and cultural critic/reporter Seth Rogovoy.
Since 1988, Seth Rogovoy has been observing the local, regional, national
and international pop culture scene in print from his home base at the
Berkshire (Mass.) Eagle, as that Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper’s
intelligent and discerning popular music critic and columnist. In addition
to music, Seth also directs his acute critical eye toward the arts, books,
politics, movies, food, the media, and cultural trends for the Eagle and
other publications.
In addition to the Berkshire Eagle, Seth’s work has appeared in Newsday, the
Boston Phoenix, Sing Out! Magazine, Moment Magazine, Leak CD Magazine, The
Forward, Pakn Treger, the Woodstock (N.Y.) Times, the Bennington (Vt.)
Banner, Berkshire Magazine, the Providence (R.I.) Phoenix, the Worcester
(Mass.) Phoenix, the Williams Alumni Review, the Williamstown Advocate and
other publications.
Seth’s commentary has been aired on public radio station WAMC in Albany,
N.Y., and on Live-105 in Pittsfield, Mass. A native of New York City and a
1982 graduate of Williams College, he lives in Williamstown, Mass., with his
wife and their two children. A freelance writer, his main occupation is
"househusband."
